AITX’s RAD-G Announces Security-Centric Proprietary ‘ChatGPT-Like’ Vision-Language Model for Security Industry Applications

Artificial Intelligence Technology Solutions, Inc. (the “Company”) (OTCID:AITX), a global leader in AI-driven security and productivity solutions for enterprise clients, along with its wholly owned subsidiary Robotic Assistance Devices Group, Inc. (RAD-G) (collectively, the “Companies”), today announced the development of a proprietary Vision-Language Model (VLM) purpose-built for security applications. Unlike off-the-shelf models such as ChatGPT, Claude and Meta’s Llama1, this VLM has been engineered in-house to deliver precise, real-time generative AI for action and analysis of visual and textual data specifically tuned for security professionals. The Company sees the need for a security-specific VLM that has greater transparency and control than the mass-market LLMs currently available.

“Security end users and manufacturers absolutely require LLMs and VLMs where they have greater control and transparency related to generative AI’s operations,” said Steve Reinharz, CEO/CTO and founder of AITX and RAD-G “After nearly a year of building the fundamental technology, we are ready to announce this effort with a prospective launch date before the end of this calendar year.”

A VLM is a type of artificial intelligence that can both “see” and “understand.” It processes images and video along with written and spoken language at the same time. In simple terms, it is the technology that lets the Company’s devices watch what is happening, interpret it in context, and then respond in methods people can easily understand.
Designed for integration and licensing, this solution provides organizations with a streamlined, high-performance tool to enhance situational awareness and drive progress across the security sector. This breakthrough follows the Company’s success with SARA™, RAD-G’s widely acclaimed agentic AI-powered video monitoring and action solution and further extends the reach of AITX’s advanced security technologies.

The Companies expect to deliver this solution to the industry at prices comparable to the current pricing structure of the major LLM service providers. As development has been underway for some time this project will be launched without adding costs to existing SG&A.

Because AITX and RAD-G have developed and own this VLM outright, the Companies can offer flexible licensing arrangements to security providers, integrators, and enterprise clients. This level of control ensures rapid adaptation to evolving security needs, streamlined integration with a variety of platforms, and the ability for partners to tailor the technology to their specific environments. By making the VLM available for licensing, the Company is enabling a new standard of intelligence, agility, and responsiveness in the security industry.
Organizations interested in bringing the RAD-G VLM to their security operations or exploring licensing opportunities are encouraged to contact the Company for more information. As the security industry continues to move forward, AITX remains focused on providing advanced solutions that create tangible results for clients, partners, and the sector as a whole.

AITX, through its primary subsidiary, Robotic Assistance Devices, Inc. (RAD), is redefining the nearly $50 billion (US) security and guarding services industry2 through its broad lineup of innovative, AI-driven Solutions-as-a-Service business model. RAD solutions are specifically designed to provide cost savings to businesses of between 35%-80% when compared to the industry’s existing and costly manned security guarding and monitoring model. RAD delivers these tremendous cost savings via a suite of stationary and mobile robotic solutions that complement, and at times, directly replace the need for human personnel in environments better suited for machines. All RAD technologies, AI-based analytics and software platforms are developed in-house.
The Company’s operations and internal controls have been validated through successful completion of its SOC 2 Type 2 audit, reinforcing the Company’s credibility with enterprise and government clients who require strict data protection and security compliance.

RAD has a prospective sales pipeline of over 35 Fortune 500 companies and numerous other client opportunities. RAD expects to continue to attract new business as it converts its existing sales opportunities into deployed clients generating a recurring revenue stream. Each Fortune 500 client has the potential of making numerous reorders over time.

DMP Expands DualSIM Product Offerings

Digital Monitoring Products (DMP) announces the expansion of DualSIM capability to more products. Two new product releases bring DualSIM to most DMP control panels.

TMSentry

TMSentry represents the latest alarm system technology designed specifically for monitoring teller machines — providing the highest level of protection in the most compact size available on the market. It easily accommodates new, slimmer ATMs and ITMs, or serves as a space-saving upgrade to existing teller machines. In addition to built-in DualSIM communication, new TMSentry updates include four additional zones with zone expansion (up to ten total zones), as well as supporting Virtual Keypad and Entré end user system management tools. Visit DMP.com/TMSentry to learn more.

XR, XT and XF6 Series

A DualSIM version of the 263LTE Cellular Communicator is now available as well. The 263LTE module provides optional cellular communication for XR, XF6 and XT Series control panels — including the new XT75. These fully supervised signals are sent directly to the monitoring center without going through a network operations center (NOC). A FirstNet-approved version of the 263LTE is also available.

DualSIM functionality allows one communicator to transmit signals over Verizon and AT&T networks — a feature rapidly growing in demand. When both carriers are activated, the control panel chooses a primary cell carrier based on signal strength and checks its signal every hour. If the signal strength indicates risk of losing connection, the system automatically switches to the second carrier if its signal is better.

DMP provides free network communication, enabling dealers to increase profitability. But if the network communication path is disrupted, Adaptive Technology seamlessly switches to the panel’s cellular path, ensuring constant supervision at the same check-in rate. The new DualSIM feature adds a third layer by having another cellular option.

While other DualSIM products on the market check the cellular signal strength once a day, the DMP solution checks every hour — 24 times as often as competitors — ensuring reliable and uninterrupted communications to the monitoring center when it matters most.

Just last month, DMP introduced DualSIM communicators to its Com Series product line, which are primarily used for takeovers. Visit DMP.com/DualSIM-Communicators to learn more.

RAD Announces HERO, the Humanoid Security Robot

Robotic Assistance Devices, Inc. (RAD), a subsidiary of Artificial Intelligence Technology Solutions, Inc. (the “Company”) (OTCPK:AITX), announced the development of HERO™ (Humanoid Enforcement & Response Officer), an advanced humanoid security robot engineered to further expand the physical forms in which RAD delivers safety and security functionality. HERO joins the RAD hardware family that includes the award-winning ROSA™, RIO™, AVA™, TOM and ROAMEO™. HERO will make its public debut at ISC West in Las Vegas this April.

HERO, in development by AITX’s subsidiary Robotic Assistance Devices Mobile, Inc. (RAD-M), could be commercially available towards the end of 2025. HERO is powered by RAD’s hardware and software suite, as are the Company’s other mobile solutions, including RADDOG LE2™ and ROAMEO, via its RAD electronics vest and backpack. This enables that RAD’s core software for SARA™, response options, and mobility functionality are fully compatible with all other RAD devices making start up time and operational effectiveness quick and easy for clients. RAD-M is expected to bring HERO to market quickly, and at little cost, as the bulk of the software and has already been tested and proven on other mobile devices. One of AITX’s strategic goals is to develop portable autonomous packs as shown on HERO and RADDOG, allowing for cost-efficient development for new hardware.

HERO Applications
HERO is designed to address the human preference of engaging humanoid-type form factors. While the balance of RAD’s product set are purpose-built devices designed to reduce human labor and increase cost efficiency for specific duties related to safety and security, HERO packages these functional abilities in a more approachable or intimidating, depending on what is happening, demeanor. This form is expected to encourage high compliance with facility rules as well as provide additional de-escalation benefits that a non-humanoid form cannot offer.
Human security officer roles are often underappreciated, poorly compensated, and carry an element of physical and verbal abuse risk. Compounded by rising labor costs, high turnover rates, and shortages of qualified security personnel have left many organizations struggling to maintain effective coverage. HERO offers a reliable alternative by providing consistent, around-the-clock security operations without the financial burden associated with staffing, training, and employee benefits.

“HERO is a continuation of AITX’s mission to improve safety, security and efficiency while under cost pressures, exactly as the market is demanding,” said Steve Reinharz, CEO/CTO of AITX. “When ready for commercial deployment, we will have further solidified our offering as having unmatched utility through both our software and hardware.”

Technology Built for Real-World Applications
HERO, like all RAD solutions, is being engineered to interact naturally with individuals. Much like a human security officer, HERO can provide de-escalation through its presence and conduct, perform access control duties, issue verbal warnings, and escalate incidents as needed via its immediate connection through SARA (Speaking Autonomous Responsive Agent). Furthermore, verified recipients of SARA telephone calls will be able to verbally direct HERO remotely. Its ability to process vast amounts of data in real time allows it to recognize potential threats and respond appropriately, significantly improving response times, reducing reliance on human intervention and lowering costs when compared to legacy solutions.

Solutions developed by RAD-M are marketed and distributed by AITX subsidiary, Robotic Assistance Devices, Inc., and through RAD’s extensive network of channel partners. This structure ensures that innovations like HERO reach a broad market efficiently, providing businesses and organizations with access to advanced, AI-driven security solutions backed by a trusted ecosystem of industry professionals.

Unveiling at ISC West 2025
HERO will be formally introduced to the security industry at ISC West.
