TMA Associate Members’ Innovation Recognized by Security Sales & Integration

At ISC West, Security Sales & Integration announced the winners of its 2023 SSI Most Valuable Products (MVP) Awards, recognizing those manufacturers’ products and technologies that make a substantial impact on integrators.

This year awards went to 12 recipients in nine categories: Access Control, Business Operations, Fire/Life Safety, Home Controls, Installation Aids, Intrusion Detection, Miscellaneous Security Products, Security Apps and Video Surveillance. All entries for the Most Valuable Products Awards were judged on innovation, functionality, competitive advantages and benefits to the installer by industry leaders, along with the editors of SSI.

The purpose of the MVP program is to illuminate how important products and technologies are to the success of security integration companies. Judging criteria not only analyzed the technical merits of the products, but the ability of the devices to help integrators open up avenues to a potential new customer base, enable integrators to design and install systems faster and, thus, more profitably or help integrators gain a profitable margin on the equipment itself. All products must either have shipped in the past 12 months or by September 2022.

Winning TMA members include:

Home Controls –, Water Dragon,

Home Controls – NAPCO Security Technologies, Prima, NAPCO

Evolon Announces Launch of Evolon Insites™

Evolon Technology, Inc., a developer of proprietary software technology that takes surveillance video and turns it into real-time actionable information, today announced the market launch of Evolon Insites™, an innovative cloud platform that leverages computer vision, AI, and video analytics to quickly and accurately detect, classify, and verify potential threats. Evolon Insites debuts this coming week at ISC West 2023, the security industry’s most comprehensive and converged trade show occurring from March 28-31, 2023, in Las Vegas.

Providing real-time threat detection, insightful forensic searches, and long-term video archiving, Evolon Insites is delivered by securely connecting customer-premise video systems to powerful cloud-based analytics and video storage. Because it leverages a pure SaaS model, organizations can quickly scale and apply the service to cameras without the need for expensive AI servers, GPUs, and storage systems. Insites is designed to work in the most demanding outdoor environments, delivering alerts to security operation centers or central stations.

“We’re proud to offer Evolon Insites as a service that is natively integrated with our VMS partners to offer best-in-class perimeter security for challenging outdoor environments such as airports, electric utility facilities, government installations, and other critical infrastructure. Insites is a higher performing and lower-cost alternative to expensive premise hardware-based analytics or buried sensors that require trenching,” said Tom Galvin, Evolon’s President and CEO.

SightLogix Introduces SightsTrackerPTZ

SightLogix’s new SightTracker PTZ is a smart camera with Edge AI that automatically zooms and follows outdoor intruders with fast, on-target responsiveness.

By embedding SightTracker™ software and AI classification analytics inside our high-performance PTZ, the camera automatically tracks targets without latency or the network delays inherent in other PTZ solutions, delivering unmatched situational awareness for outdoor sites.

SightTracker PTZ works with SightSensor thermal detection cameras, staying locked onto intruders as they move throughout the site, even beyond the field of view of the detecting camera. By re-centering the target up to 10 times per second, the SightTracker PTZ keeps the intruder in clear view with striking zoomed-in detail.

Powered by AI-based classification analytics, IR illumination, 33x optical zoom, 360-degree pan, and a 5MP imager with excellent low-light performance, SightTracker PTZ revolutionizes the outdoor PTZ market.

“SightTracker PTZ solves a big outdoor security challenge, which is keeping eyes on an intruder without manually steering a PTZ – instead, it’s all automatic,” said John Romanowich, SightLogix president and CEO. “With the SightTracker PTZ’s Edge AI, operators are unburdened from the critical task of tracking so they can focus on mitigating the threat, and achieve the highest levels of security.”

SightTracker PTZ is available to order now for protecting utilities and substations, data centers, transportation assets, or any commercial site vulnerable to outdoor theft and vandalism.

Digital Monitoring Products Releases XV-24 with AlarmVision™️

Digital Monitoring Products (DMP) announces the release of the XV-24 with AlarmVision™️. AlarmVision’s patent-pending technology seamlessly integrates cameras, analytics and the XR Series™ control panels in one platform to create a smart motion detector that triggers panel responses and alarms in real time.

According to Alee Rouhani, DMP’s Director of Marketing, “The XV-24 with AlarmVision not only detects important objects but can trigger an alarm or lights to help deter an intruder from entering a premises, potentially avoiding or limiting damage caused before a break-in occurs.

XV-24 with AlarmVision™ gives business owners peace of mind that their property is being actively monitored by adding real time analytic monitoring to existing and new video cameras. Features include:

  • Define where users want to detect activity within a camera’s field of view
  • Specify what activity users want to detect – person, vehicle and/or animal
  • Schedule when detection of that activity should trigger a response

“A key advantage to AlarmVision is how it can be used for false alarm reduction as it will simultaneously notify both the end user and monitoring center for verification when a defined event occurs,” stated Barrett Hillenburg, Product Manager of Software Applications for DMP.

DMPs Dealer Admin™ provides one interface to program cameras, analytics, and panel zones, while Virtual Keypad™ provides users with a single interface to monitor and manage their video activity.
