Louis T. Fiore Electronic Communications Scholarship Application
The Louis T. Fiore Electronic Communications Scholarship was established in October 2022 to honor Mr. Fiore’s enduring contribution to the alarm industry and the Alarm Industry Communications Committee (AICC).
The Scholarship is open to anyone studying an electronics curriculum, specifically electronic communications, or software development related to electronic communications, regardless of financial need. Students seeking such a degree in electrical engineering or an associate degree in electronics at any nationally accredited educational institution may apply.
Applications for 2024 (fall/winter) and 2025 (spring/summer) are due by September 3, 2024.
The scholarship winner will be announced in October at the 2024 TMA Annual Meeting in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.
Requirements
For students entering the first year in a qualifying educational institution:
- A letter of acceptance from the educational institution and evidence of enrollment in
the institution.
- An official high-school transcript, including GPA.
- A list of extracurricular activities and of any honors received.
- A resume or CV
- An essay of no more than 500 words explaining your passion for
electronic communications and your reason for study this field.
For students further in their studies in a qualifying educational institution:
