TMA’s 2023 OPSTech is set to take place in Lafayette, Louisiana Sunday, October 8-Thursday, October 12th. We’re excited to announce TMA member Acadian Monitoring Services will host this year’s meeting at their training facility as well as provide a guided tour of their monitoring center.

From operational strategies and video and technology advancements, our sessions will cover a wide range of topics to equip you with the knowledge and insights needed for success. Registration is open for those interested in the full program, video or technology only. Discounts are available for groups of three or more. Bring your team.

Subject: Justification to Attend TMA’s OPSTech Program – October 8-12, 2023

Please use all or part of this justification text to request approval to attend The Monitoring Association’s (TMA) OPSTech program, scheduled to take place from October 8-12, 2023, in Lafayette, LA. This premier event for monitoring professionals offers an exceptional opportunity to gain insights, exchange knowledge, and stay at the forefront of industry trends and advancements. The event includes a tour of Acadian Monitoring Services. Attending this program will contribute significantly to our company’s growth and success.

The OPSTech program agenda is made up of two days of operations topics, and an additional two days of technology topics that include video monitoring. Curated by TMA’s Education, Technology, and Surveillance and Video Verification committees, the program is designed to address the pressing challenges and emerging trends in the monitoring center industry. The sessions cover a wide range of topics that are highly relevant to our operations, including technology advancements, operational strategies, workforce management, risk mitigation, and more. The session titles demonstrate the program’s focus on key areas that are essential for our continuous improvement and success:

By attending OPSTech, I will have the opportunity to participate in interactive workshops, engage in panel discussions, and learn from industry experts who are at the forefront of their respective fields. The knowledge and insights gained during this program will enable me to enhance my skills, explore innovative approaches, and identify strategies to optimize our monitoring center operations. Additionally, I will have the chance to connect and network with colleagues, exchanging best practices, and building valuable relationships.

The Roundtable discussions at this event are an example of the open exchange of challenges and best practices, allowing attendees to openly discuss and share their experiences in a solutions-based environment. By participating in these discussions, I will be able to learn from others’ experiences, and gain insights into successful strategies implemented by industry peers.

The investment in attending OPSTech is well-justified. The in-person registration fee covers access to all sessions, workshops, networking events, breakfast, and lunch. The hotel room fee is $134 per night. Registration options include full, partial (Ops or Tech Only), or hybrid participation ranging from $250 to $825.
