Amy Becht, Director of Monitoring, Vivint

Amy Becht entered the Smart Home industry when she joined Vivint in 2008 and is currently the Director of Monitoring. She is a past recipient of the TMA/SDM Monitoring Center Manager of the year award and has led Vivint Monitoring to win three TMA/SDM Monitoring Center of the year awards. Amy has been interviewed and featured in industry publications such as Security Systems News and SDM Magazine. She has also served on the TMA Education, ASAP to PSAP, and NextGen Committees.

Alan Gillmore IV, President, Gillmore Security Systems

Alan Gillmore IV, currently serves as President of Gillmore Security Systems, a third-generation family business headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio. Alan joined Gillmore Security in 2002 and has worked in many capacities including sales, operations, and executive leadership. His current role as President focuses him on strategic design and implementation, enterprise control and acquisition initiatives.
In 2000 Alan graduated from Miami University with his B.S. in Business and a minor in International Business. After graduating, Alan went on to join McDonald Investments as an analyst focused on marketing investment banking products to the financial sponsor community. In 2002 Alan left McDonald to join his family’s business, Gillmore Security. After four years of developing direct sales experience, Alan returned for his MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management with concentrations in Strategy and Finance.
Alan has appeared and been quoted in several national and local publications like Crain’s Cleveland Business, Inside Business Magazine, Smart Business and Security Systems News for his knowledge about the security industry. He has also received SSN’s 20 under 40 award, the Smart Business Northeast Ohio Smart 50 Award and has been featured in the Inside Business One to Watch column. Alan currently serves on several boards including: The Monitoring Association (Vice President), NetOne Corporation (Board of Directors), Acroment Technologies (Board of Advisors) and Habitec Security (Board of Advisors).

Joey Rao-Russell, President & CEO, Kimberlite Corporation

Joey Rao-Russell has worked in the Security industry for 20 years working in all aspects of the business including operations, sales up to her current position as the President & CEO of Kimberlite Corporation the world’s largest independent Sonitrol Franchisee based in Fresno, California. She leads an award winning team including central station specializing in audio and video verified security solutions for over 40 years. She is dedicated to improving police relations within the security industry. She currently serves as Past President of the Sonitrol National Dealers Association, Partnership for Priority Verified Alarm Response, Treasurer and The Monitoring Association Board of Directors.
Steve Butkovich, Chief Product Officer, CPI Security Systems & Sascha Kylau, Vice President, Central Station Solutions and Services, OneTel Security

Steve Butkovich has been with CPI Security Systems and in the industry 20 plus years in a variety of roles including leadership positions in Field Operations, Customer Care, Central Station, IT and Product Management.He works daily to be the best version of himself by lightening the load of others, living enthusiastically and passionately, and trying to find the fun in all he does. Sascha Kylau is the VP of OneTel Security and has been in the alarm industry for 24 years. He specializes in telecom, data, and cyber security solutions for the industry. Sascha is very active in the monitoring industry and is the current Co-Chair of the Alarm Industry Communications Committee as well as the Co-Chair of TMA’s Technology Committee. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from DeVry University. |

Jamie Haenggi, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, ADT Solar
Episode 7 – June 21, 2022
Jamie Haenggi joined ADT in 2016 and has nearly 30 years of experience in the security and telecom industries, including Chief Customer Officer from 2016 to 2022, Chief Customer Experience Officer at Protection 1, Inc. from 2010 to 2106 and Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President of Customer Experience at Vonage, Inc. from 2006 to 2010. Prior to 2016 she held various sales and marketing roles at National Guardian, Holmes Protection and ADT, where she oversaw sales and marketing both domestically and internationally and led one ADT’s first Six Sigma team. Mrs. Haenggi is on the board of directors of Enphase Energy, a global energy technology company and the world’s leading supplier of microinverter-based solar-plus-storage systems.
Mrs. Haenggi was honored in the Marketing Hall of Femme in 2014, is a multi-year SAMMY Industry Marketing Award winner, and recognized as building culture that inspires world-class results among employees and customers. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in international relations and Japanese from the University of Minnesota.

Ivan Spector, President, Alarme Sentinelle/Sentinel Alarm

Ivan is a 40 year veteran of the Security Alarm Industry, having seen much change during that time.
He was born at a young age [Ivan humor!] and following his graduation from McGill University he gravitated to the alarm business by complete chance.
He is President and CEO of Sentinel Alarm/Alarme Sentinelle based in Montreal, Canada and with a division operating in Vermont. Sentinel is a full service, ULC listed, 5 Diamond, NetOne, custom design company that is dedicated to life and property safety for their thousands of clients using only best in class hardware.
A Past President of CANASA, a founding member of SIAC, former Board member of SIA, a signatory of the ALAS charter and a Past President of TMA, Ivan has always believed in giving back to the industry and was highly encouraged to spend as much time out of the office by his team and home by Jodi and 4 children.
A Superior Court of Canada expert witness and speaker at Industry events Ivan counts many close friends from an Industry that is very dear and close to his heart.
He has also participated on the Board of Directors of the Montreal YW/YMHA, an Executive Committee member of his synagogue and the Board of Directors of The Starlight Foundation.
He is an avid downhill, cross county and water skier, cyclist, hockey player, swimmer and gym rat. During the pandemic, his new passion was to take up Yoga.
He loves his dogs and his family, not necessarily in that order.

Shannon Woodman, President/Chief Operating Officer, Washington Alarm

Ms. Woodman is the third generation to lead the family-owned Washington Alarm, which was founded by her grandfather in 1943. “As a life-long learner, I believe in working on our business, just as much as working in our business.”
Ms. Woodman has served as Co-Chair of the TMA Membership Committee since 2010 and was appointed to serve as Treasurer on TMA’s Executive Committee this year.

Don Young, EVP & COO, ADT

Don Young was recently named Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for ADT. He served as Chief Information Officer and EVP, Field Operations. He was responsible for Technology, as well as Field Sales and Operations, he will now also oversee all aspects of service delivery to customers. Don had served as Chief Information Officer since joining the company in 2016. He first entered the alarm industry in 1988 after serving four years in the United States Air Force as a Computer Programmer Analyst. He has worked as Central Station Manager, Operations and General Manager, Corporate Director, Director of Call Center Operations, VP of Information Technology, CIO and COO. Don is currently President of The Monitoring Association (TMA) and past President of the Partnership for Priority Video Alarm Response (PPVAR).

Pam Petrow, President & CEO, Vector Security
Episode 1 – May 4, 2021
Ms. Petrow began her career at Vector Security in 1982. After a series of promotions, she was appointed Senior Vice President of the Central Stations and Information Services Group in 1997. In 2004, she was promoted to Executive Vice President, and in 2008, she was again promoted to Chief Operating Officer. In October of 2010, Ms. Petrow was appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer. Ms. Petrow has held leadership positions in the Pennsylvania Burglar and Fire Alarm Association (PBFAA); Electronic Security Association (ESA); The Monitoring Association (TMA), formerly the Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA), executive committee; and is a past President of TMA. She is involved with the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials – International (APCO), and received its President’s Award in 2009 for her outstanding contributions to the electronic transmission of signals between central stations and 911 dispatch centers. In 2006, she graduated from the prestigious Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program. She was presented with an Ernst & Young (EY) Entrepreneur Of The Year™ Award in the Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia program in 2014.
