Travel Advisory
Please note: This is the latest information as of January 28, 2021. We will continue to update, as we learn of new information.
Hawaii is a beautiful and unique state composed entirely of islands in the Pacific Ocean. As such they are naturally isolated from other states and countries. They are asking all travelers to join in their efforts to help keep Hawaii safe during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The islands of Oahu, Maui, Molokai, Lanai, and Hawaii continue with the state’s pre-travel testing program. Travelers must have their negative Covid test (NAAT, also known as PCR test) results prior to departing the mainland as an alternative to Hawaii’s mandatory 10-day quarantine. Please note that Maui County (home of the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua) also has some requirements, including downloading the Aloha Safe Alert App to your cell phone that will notify you if you come into contact with any Maui County resident on the app who tests positive. This is currently a mandatory requirement for travelers to Maui.
As the Covid-19 vaccine program becomes more available to the general population, it is expected that rules and regulations for travel to Hawaii will be updated. In order to provide you with the most up-to-date travel restrictions and requirements, please continue to check the following websites.
