The beautiful countryside scenery yields legendary award-winning wines, cheeses and olive oils. Spas with treatments to indulge the senses abound. With all it has to offer, it’s no wonder why more than 3.5 million people visit Napa Valley annually spending more than 1.4 billion dollars.
Test your pallet at more than 400 Wineries
There’s a reason Napa Valley is known the world over. Stunning natural beauty aside, this California winery region produces some of the world’s best wines. Full-bodied Cabernets, fruity Merlots, and buttery Chardonnays are just a few of the dozens of varieties presented by the 400-plus wineries that pepper these fertile soils. From simple wine tasting rooms to full blown winery tours you are sure to find plenty of places to raise a glass and expand your wine knowledge.
Dine and explore your artistic side in Yountville
Yountville has long been revered as an artist destination – a status that nearly rivals its reputation as a magnet for foodies. Located in the heart of the Napa Valley landscape, the town presents an ideal backdrop for artists of all genres to find inspiration. In addition, Yountville has several art galleries throughout the town, and many of the tasting rooms showcase magnificent art as well. Only in the Napa Valley could a tiny rural village boast more Michelin stars per capita than any other place in North America. Yountville is that village, and the stars belong to The French Laundry (which has 3) and Bouchon (which has 1). Enjoy strolling the organic garden where ingredients are harvested for these outstanding Thomas Keller restaurants.
Indulge your senses in Calistoga
Calistoga, famous for its hot springs and mud baths, has been drawing visitors from all over the world to its spas for over 100 years. This charming town is also home to world-class wineries, restaurants, boutique clothing and gift shops, and art galleries all within easy walking distance in this charming rural town.
