Location and Airports

The Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa is located on the south end of Palm Beach Island, an 18-mile long Atlantic coast barrier island.  The Intercoastal Waterway separates’ it from the neighboring cities of West Palm Beach and Lake Worth.

  • Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) is the main airport serving the resort and is located 12 miles north.
  • Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) is located 42 miles south.
  • Miami International Airport (MIA) is 63 miles south of the resort.

Airport Transfers

Taxis are readily available at the Eau Palm Beach International Airport.  A one-way fare to the Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa is approximately $35-$40.  Uber and Lyft run $25-$30

For those needing assistance with their luggage or prefer having arrangements made in advance of their arrival, you may wish to use the services of Kirkland DMC. A one-way sedan transfer is $82.00, plus a $15 driver meet and greet fee. Click for complete details.

The Eau Palm Beach Resort &Spa does not have a taxi stand.  When going off property or making your return trip to the airport you will need to make advance arrangements with the concierge or bell captain, or Uber and Lyft are readily available.

  • Henry Morrison Flagler Museum — Named Whitehall, the Gilded Age 73-room mansion was designed by the famed architectural firm of Carrere and Hastings.  The home contains original furnishings and an art collection.  Also on display in a separate pavillion is the 1886 private railcar, No. 91, built for Henry Flagler and now restored to its original appearance.
  • Worth Avenue — The Palm Beach equivalent of Beverly Hill’s Rodeo Drive with high end shopping and many dining options.  The range of shops covers apparel; shoes; art; modern, antique and estate jewelry; accessories; rare books, and others.
  • Norton Museum of Art — Founded in 1941 by industrialist Ralph Hubbard North and his wife Elizabeth Calhoun Norton the museum showcases 7,000+ works of art and photography.  Included in the collection are works by Rubens, Van Dyck, Monet, Gaugin, Matisse, Picasso, Chagall, Bellows, Motherwell, Pollock and many other European and American artists.
  • West Palm Beach Antique Row, Art and Design District — Ranked #4 by Conde Nast’s “Traveler” in the “Best Places in the US for Shopping” category.  There are numerous upscale antique stores, art galleries and interior design studios
  • The Society of the Four Arts, founded in 1936, offers a dynamic lineup of cultural programming including speakers, concerts, films and art exhibitions.  The grounds feature an art gallery with an ever-changing schedule of traveling art exhibits and a sculptural garden that showcases the diversity of tropical plants.
