Uldrich is a well-recognized global futurist, speaker, and author of eleven books. A frequent guest on national media with regular appearances on the Science Channel’s ”FutureScape” and the Discovery Channel’s ”Inside Out,” Jack is an ongoing contributor on emerging technologies and future trends for a number of publications, including The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Wired Magazine and BusinessWeek. Transportation Planning

The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess does not have a taxi queue for hotel guests. The hotel can make arrangements with their preferred vendor (Transtyle) to take you anywhere you would like to go. While a few vehicles wait on property, please plan ahead, especially during peak times of the day, and make advance arrangements with the hotel concierge or doorman. If you prefer, the hotel can call for a local Scottsdale taxi.

Enterprise Rental Car also maintains a desk in the hotel’s main lobby with a limited number of cars on-site. You can reach them in advance or on property by calling 480-585-2668.

Airport Transfers

  • Sedan/Limo/SUV — Each of the airport terminals at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is equipped with transportation boards in the baggage claim area. Fairmont Scottsdale Princess’s photo is featured on the board with a direct telephone line to a dedicated Transtyle operator (the hotel’s preferred transportation vendor).  The operator will dispatch a vehicle for curbside pick-up. For faster service, make an advance reservation. Estimated one-way transfer is $80 per sedan.  Advance reservations can also be made for meet-and-greet services in the baggage claim area for an estimated $105 per sedan. For all advance reservations, flights will be monitored and adjusted for any delays.
  • Taxi – Hail a taxi outside of the baggage claim area of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. The estimated price for one-way airport transfer is $60-$80 (metered transfer – rates vary based on traffic and route).  Estimated pricing does not include gratuity.
  • Super Shuttle — Super Shuttle airport transfer service is available in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. The shuttle may make multiple stops before your destination. For reservations, call 800-258-3826. Estimated pricing for a one-way transfer is $22/per person (not including gratuity)
